Lake ShowMe
Lake Show-Me is a recreational lake, owned and maintained by the City of Memphis, Missouri. The lake and surrounding grounds are open to the public for outdoor recreation in accordance with city rules and regulations.
Lake Show-Me is located just outside the City of Memphis and serves residents and visitors seeking outdoor recreation.
Recreational Opportunities
Permitted activities at Lake Show-Me include:

Boating (electric motors only, unless otherwise posted)
Canoeing and kayaking
Picnicking and day use
Camping (designated areas only)
Horseback riding on designated horse trails
Disc golf (course available on site)
Shooting range use (designated range only)
Trap shooting in designated areas
All activities must follow posted signage and applicable city and state regulations.
Fishing Information
Lake Show-Me is stocked periodically and supports a variety of fish species. A valid Missouri fishing license is required for anyone fishing who meets state licensing requirements.
Camping
Camping is permitted in designated areas only at Lake Show-Me.
Camping Fee: $20 per night

Campers must comply with all posted rules and regulations, including quiet hours, fire restrictions, and proper disposal of trash. Overnight camping outside designated areas is prohibited.
Trails & Outdoor Recreation
Horse Trails: Horseback riding is allowed only on marked trails. Riders must stay on designated paths to protect natural areas.
Disc Golf: A disc golf course is available for public use. Course maps and rules may be available at City Hall or posted on-site.
Shooting Range & Trap Shoot Area
Lake Show-Me offers a designated shooting range and trap shoot area for public use.
Firearms and shooting activities are permitted only in posted and designated areas
All users must follow the posted safety rules and directions
Eye and ear protection are strongly recommended
Shooting outside designated areas is strictly prohibited
Use of the shooting range and trap shoot area is subject to City rules and may be restricted during special events or maintenance.

To ensure safety and protect city property:
No swimming allowed
No littering — pack out all trash
Observe posted motor and speed limits
Alcohol and unauthorized fires are prohibited unless otherwise posted
Failure to comply with lake rules may result in fines or loss of privileges.
